The present petition under Section 2(b) and Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 seeks the following prayers: - "(a) Punish the Contemnors/Respondents for having committed Civil Contempt of this Hon'ble Court punishable u/s 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 by initiating appropriate civil contempt proceedings against the Contemnors/Respondents for wilful disobedience and contempt of Order dated 14.09.2023 passed in CS (Comm.) No. 139 of 2023;

(b) Direct the Respondents/Contemnors to purge the contempt and to immediately pay water and electricity charges for August 2023 to the tune ofRs.61,986/- alongwith Cheque for a further amount of Rs.61,986/- to the Petitioner; and/or (c) Pass any other or further order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the-case." 3.
