This petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 12 O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 642/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Disputes having arisen between the parties in relation to Letter of Award dated 23.11.2012 issued in favour of the Petitioner by the Respondent for implementation of IT infrastructure and applications in the jurisdictional area of Dakshin Haryana and subsequent management of IT infrastructure/applications, three-member Arbitral Tribunal was constituted to adjudicate the disputes. Mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal was extended for six months with the consent of the parties, initial mandate having expired. It is stated that mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal is expiring on 14.10.2025 and in the arbitral proceedings, final arguments are yet to commence.

Mr. Raheel Kohli, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the Respondent and fairly, on instructions, does not object to the extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal albeit refutes the averments in the petition on the merits of the case.

Accordingly, without going into the merits of the case and/or the allegations levelled in the present petition, with the consent of the parties, mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 09 months from 15.10.2025.

Petition is allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
