The present petition under Section 11 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 seeks the following prayers: - "a) Initiate contempt proceeding against the Respondents for willfully and deliberately disobeying the judgement dated 27.03.2024of this Hon'ble High Court passed in Writ Petition (Civil) 4507/2024.;
b) Any other order as the Hon'ble Court deems fit and appropriate in the facts and circumstances of the matter." 3.
In pursuance of the order dated 02.05.2025, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the MCD has handed up a status report in the Court today and the same has been taken on record. As per the aforesaid status report, the encroachment removal programme at the subject place was carried out on 27.08.2025 and encroachment in the form of cemented slab/ thada adjacent to The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. the boundary wall of the park was removed completely with the assistance of police force from P.S., Aman Vihar, Delhi.
