This application seeks compliance of the undertaking given by the MCD contained in the order dated 17th November 2023 in CONT. CAS(C) No. 1238/2022.

MCD's status report has been handed up.

Mr. Siddhant Nath, Standing Counsel for MCD has taken us through the detailed status report.

It is noted in the status report that consistent action has been taken in relation to the demolition and sealing action from November 2022 till December 2023. The property now stands sealed. The photographs appended along with the status report show that the property is completely in an uninhabitable condition. 6.
Further, the communication has been sent to SHO, Vasant Kunj to keep strict watch and ward over the said property, so that the demolished portion may not be restored.

Moreover, the counsel for petitioner informs that this property is coowned by them and the private respondent, and there is a private dispute ongoing between them, which is pending in a suit before this Court, in which orders have been passed.

The Court has perused the status report and does not find any reason to entertain this Contempt Petition any further. 9.
The petition, itself, is disposed of.

The date already fixed i.e. 16th September 2025 stands cancelled. 11.
