Present Public Interest Litigation has been filed seeking directions to the Respondents to maintain the two public toilets situated at Kalandar Colony Basti, Delhi-110095, which are meant for usage of slum residents (consisting of three slum areas i.e., Deepak Colony, Dilshad Vihar and Kalandar Colony) and to ensure provisions of basic hygienic facilities in the said public toilets. The Petitioners further seek directions to the Respondents to remove the encroachments and to ensure that said public toilets are not misused for drugs and/or other illegal activities. Keeping in view the fact that a general Public Interest Litigation being W.P.(C) No. 2088/2023 seeking clean public toilets in GNCTD is pending consideration, this Court disposes of the present writ petition with liberty to the Petitioner to file an application in the said W.P.(C) 2088/2023. 3.

With the aforesaid liberty, the present writ petition and application stand disposed of.
