W.P.(CRL) 569/2017 Present FIR No. 136/12 under Sections 406/506/420/120B/34 IPC was registered at police station Madhu Vihar, on the complaint of respondent nos. 2 and 3, wherein petitioners are accused. Learned ASC for the State submits that later on, investigations of the present FIR have been transferred to EOW and the matter is now being investigated by the EOW Cell.

It is submitted that petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3 have

settled their disputes amicably vide Memorandum of Understanding/Settlement Agreement (Annexure P-2). Respondent nos. 2 and 3 are present in Court and they have been identified by SI Abhishek Kumar of Economic Offences Wing. Respondent nos. 2 and 3 submit that they have settled the matter with the petitioners of their own and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. They further submit that they have no objection in case the FIR is quashed.

Keeping in mind that a settlement has been arrived at between the petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3, inasmuch as, these respondents have no objection in quashing of the FIR, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 136/12 under Sections 406/420/506/120B/34 IPC registered at police station Madhu Vihar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Writ petition is disposed of.
