The solitary relief which is claimed in the instant writ petition is for a direction being framed commanding the first respondent to decide the application of the petitioner under Section 28A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894.

In view of the aforesaid, we find no justification to continue the writ petition on our board. It shall, consequently, stand disposed of with the direction that the said authority shall endeavor to dispose of the said application with due expedition and preferably within a period of three months from today.
