By way of present petition, the petitioner seeks following prayer: "To issue appropriate Writ, Order or Direction against the Respondent Nos. 1 to 3, directing them to grant premature release as per the Delhi Prison Rules 2018 to Petitioner serving sentence in case of FIR No. 166/2004, U/S: 302/34 IPC & 27 Arms Act, PS: Seelampur."

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition may be treated as a representation and be considered by the Competent Authority.

Learned ASC for the State submits that the petitioner's case would be taken up as a representation before the Sentence Review Board (SRB) through the concerned Jail Authority and would be considered expeditiously.
