This petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No. 497/2021 under section 384/388/120B IPC PS Tilak Nagar qua the petitioners on the basis of an oral settlement arrived with the respondent No.2/complainant. The affidavit of respondent No.2 is on record and states that he has no objection for quashing of the said FIR in view of the settlement arrived at. 2.
Petitioner Nos.1 & 2 and respondent No.2/complainant are present in Court and duly identified by the IO. Respondent No.3 is an accused. Counsels for the parties state that there is no settlement qua respondent No.3/accused.

continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the said FIR qua the petitioner Nos.1 and 2, and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. 4.
Parties shall be bound by the terms of the settlement. 5.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications, if any, are rendered infructuous.
