The present petition for transfer of SC No. 29398/2016 titled State v. Hardya Thakur etc. has been instituted pursuant to the order of the Registrar General of this Court dated 13th August, 2025. The order was passed in view of a request made by the Principal District and Sessions Judge (Central), Delhi noting that Mr. Virender Singh, Special Judge, NDPS-02, Central District, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi, has rescued himself from hearing the matter stating that his Court is not the Designated Court to deal with scheduled offences under the provisions of National Investigative Agency Act, this case is required to be transferred to the Court of Competent jurisdiction for adjudication.

Record of the case which is sent to this Court is perused. 3.

Hardya Thakur etc., presently pending adjudication before the court of Mr. Virender Singh, Special Judge, NDPS02, Central, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi is transferred to the Court of competent jurisdiction housed at Patiala House Courts, New Delhi dealing with the cases pertaining to the National Investigation Agency Act. 4.

Parties are directed to appear before the Transferee Court on 30th August, 2025. Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of. 5.

A copy of this order be sent immediately without any failure to Principal District and Sessions Judges of the concerned district for necessary information and compliance.
