Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950 read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1950/Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (hereinafter referred to as „B.N.S.S.‟), has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner, to direct the Respondent, to make the facility of attending classes through VideoConferencing available to him from the Phoolwati Institute of Law/Respondent No. 4, affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Meerut, which has been denied to him by the learned ASJ vide Order dated 07.11.2024.

The Petitioner submits that he was enrolled in BALLB Course, with Phoolwati College since prior to his arrest on 24.01.2024. Though, the learned ASJ has permitted him to take the course books inside the Jail and also has been permitted to apply for Exams as and when required, but he has been deprived of to attend the classes through Video-Conferencing. 6.

On a specific query being put, neither the Petitioner has placed on record the Prospectus nor is he able to explain whether the VideoConferencing facility for attending the classes, are available in the said College. Furthermore, as has been pointed out, similar Application had been filed vide W.P. (Crl.) No. 1782/2025, which was withdrawn by him on 10.07.2025.

Therefore, there is no merit in the Criminal Writ Petition and the same is hereby disposed of accordingly.
