By way of the present petition, the petitioner is seeking following prayer:

"(a) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order directing the Respondent Nos. 1 to 3 to conduct an independent investigation/enquiry into the illegal, recurring demands for money ("hafta") being made by the Respondent Nos. 4 & 5 (Beat Officers of P.S. Dwarka North) from shopkeepers including the Petitioner at Shani Bazaar Chowk, Sector-15, Dwarka, Delhi and also conduct an enquiry/investigation into the false implication, illegal detention, fabrication of records, and abuse of power by Respondent Nos. 4 & 5 against the Petitioner; and/or;

(b) Issue an order or direction to the Respondent Nos. 1 to 3 to preserve the closed circuit television (CCTV) footage of Police Station Dwarka North for the period between 10:00 pm (06.04.2025) and 04:00 am (07.04.2025); and/or;

(c) Issue an order or direction to the Respondent Nos. 1 to 3 to preserve call detail records (CDRs) of the Respondent Nos. 4 & 5 and the Petitioner for the period between 10:00 pm (06.04.2025) and 05:00 am (07.04.2025) and produce the same before this Hon'ble Court; and/or; (d) Issue an order or direction to initiate disciplinary action against the Respondent Nos. 4 & 5 for their misconduct and violation of legal and The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. constitutional safeguards; and/or;

(e) Issue an order or direction awarding suitable compensation to the Petitioner for his illegal detention, mental trauma, loss of dignity, and hardship caused due to the malicious acts of the Respondent Nos. 4 & 5; and/or"

This Court deems it appropriate to direct that the present writ petition be treated as representation on behalf of the petitioner and the prayer made herein be decided by the DCP concerned within a period of 15 days from date of receipt of this order, under intimation to the petitioner herein. 4.

However, it is stated that the vigilance inquiry already stands initiated against the respondent nos. 4 & 5.
