Petitioner seeks quashing of case FIR No. 704/2024 of PS Ranhola for offence under Section 110/351(2) BNS on the ground that the complainant de facto and injured persons (respondents no.2-4) have compromised the disputes with the petitioner.

Learned APP accepts notice and submits that State has no serious objection because it was basically a matrimonial dispute, which has now been settled.

Respondents no.2-4 present in courtroom and identified by Investigating Officer/SI Deepak Kumar accept notice. Respondents no.2-4 are accompanied with their counsel.

I have spoken with the parties in Hindi. Respondents no.2-4 are parents-in-law and wife of petitioner. It is stated by them that now all matrimonial disputes between petitioner and respondent no.4 stand resolved and now they are living together happily. Respondent no.4 specifically submits that now she has no complaint against petitioner as they are living together and they also have one son aged about three years. Respondents no.2-4 submit that they do not wish to pursue prosecution of petitioner. 5.

Considering the above circumstances and having spoken with the parties, I am satisfied that it would be in the interest of justice not to push the parties through trial. Therefore, the petition is allowed and the FIR No. 704/2024 of PS Ranhola for offence under Section 110/351(2) BNS as well as proceedings arising out of the same are quashed. Pending application stands disposed of.
