After some hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner confines himself to seeking that the petitioner's second appeal dated 05.04.2025 filed before the Central Information Commission ('CIC') be heard and decided expeditiously.

This Court is not inclined to issue any pre-emptory directions to the CIC to take the petitioner's second appeal out of turn or on a particular date. It is for the CIC to regulate/set its own hearing schedule. However, considering the peculiar circumstances of the case, liberty is granted to the petitioner to mention the matter before the CIC to seek expeditious listing and consideration of the aforesaid second appeal filed by the petitioner. 3.

Let the CIC make an endeavour to accommodate the said request of the petitioner and also to take up the second appeal of the petitioner for hearing and disposal within a period of eight (8) weeks from today. 4.
