% 19.02.2018 Petitioner seeks police protection. He submits that he is receiving repeated threats at the hands of respondent no.4 who has been joined by respondent nos.5 to 10. Several 100 number calls have been made but they remained unanswered.

Learned counsel for the State has put in appearance. The concerned police officer from Police Station Lahori Gate is also present. Under instructions, learned counsel for the State informs this Court that a separate FIR has been registered against respondent no.4 under Section 506 of the IPC and investigation is in progress. adjacent to the hotel of the petitioner which was the bone of contention inter se the parties.

Noting the above narration of facts and on the undertaking and assurance given by the learned counsel for the State, this petition is disposed of with the directions to the State to ensure adequate police protection is afforded to the petitioner and if he gives a complaint the same shall be answered in accordance with law.
