The present petition has been filed under Article 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 CrPC seeking extension of parole of the petitioner which was originally granted to her vide order dated 12.10.2017 and, thereafter, extended from time to time. 2.
Learned Standing Counsel for the State has handed over a status report dated 10.01.2024, the same is taken on record. 3.
A perusal of the status report shows that the IO has verified the fact that the petitioner is suffering from various ailments and is unable to walk without the assistance of an attendant and is currently on bed rest. The fact that the petitioner is aged about 79 years is also not disputed. 4.

allowed. Accordingly, the parole of the petitioner is further extended from today for a period of six months on the same terms and conditions as recorded in the order dated 12.10.2017, which has been annexed as Annexure P-2 to the present petition.
