By the present petition, the petitioner seeks direction to the Sentence Review Board (SRB) to consider his application for premature release.

The petition is bereft of all the necessary details. 3.

The learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State, however, fairly states that not only the petitioner but all the convicts whose cases are ripe to be considered for premature release are taken up in accordance with applicable rules and law without any delay.

He submits that the case of the petitioner will also be considered if found eligible.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition at this stage. 6.

The present petition is disposed of.
