The parties have preferred this joint petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ["the Act"] for extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal, which is in seisin of disputes between the parties under two purchase orders dated 22.01.2014 and 03.02.2014.

Learned counsel for the parties draw my attention to an order of the learned tribunal dated 21.09.2023, whereby the parties consented to extension of time of six months for making of the Award. The petitioner has thereafter made an application for consideration of certain additional documents, which is pending before the learned Arbitrator. The matter is otherwise at the stage of final arguments.

Having regard to the above, the joint petition of the parties is allowed and the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal is extended for O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 9/2024 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
