Learned counsel for the parties submit that the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement before the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre vide a Settlement Agreement dated 18.10.2024, a copy whereof has been handed over in Court and is taken on record. 2.

As per the terms of the said Settlement Agreement, the parties have decided to part ways with the appellant agreeing to withdraw all the cases filed against the respondent subject to the respondent paying her a lumpsum sum of Rs.10,25,000/- in installments as set out in paragraph 8 (ii) (1) to (3) thereof.

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that two demand drafts for the sum of Rs.2.5 lakhs each, which were to be paid to the appellant The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. subject to withdrawal of cases referred to in paragraph 4 (b, c and f) as also the complaint case no. 1179/ 2022 under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act pending before the competent Court in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh by the appellant, are ready and will be handed over to the appellant in accordance with the terms of the Settlement Agreement as and when she appears before the respective Courts and makes statement qua withdrawal of the said cases.

In the light of the aforesaid stand taken by the parties, the appeal is disposed of by taking the Settlement Agreement on record and directing that the parties will remain bound by the terms thereof. 5.

In case, any of the parties fail to comply with the terms of the settlement, it will be open for them to seek revival of the present appeal, as per law.
