CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ANISH DAYAL

% 10.12.2024 1.

Pursuant to the previous orders of this Court, an affidavit of one Ms. Doli, wife of Sonu Singh, has been placed on record, which states that they have settled their disputes and she does not to pursue the case any further. She was one of the injured persons in the incident. Injured Laxmi is present through VC and identified by the counsel and she has no objection to the quashing of the said FIRs.

2.

There is already a settlement agreement between the parties dated 19th The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 02/07/2025 at 08:47:58

February, 2022 where they have agreed for quashing of the cross-FIRs. 3.

These petitions have been filed seeking quashing of FIR No.343/2017 under Sections 308/341/323/506/34 IPC and FIR No.345/2017 under Sections 308/452/323/457/380/427/34 IPC, P.S. Anand Parbat 4.

Parties were neighbours and issues resulted out of an altercation, which have now been amicably resolved.

5.

The petitioners and the complainants in both these matters are present in Court and duly identified by the IO and their respective counsels. 6.

Complainants state that they have no objection to the quashing of the said FIRs.

7.

Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No.343/2017 under Sections 308/341/323/506/34 and FIR No.345/2017 308/452/323/457/380/427/34, P.S.

Anand Parbat, and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

8.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 9.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
