O R D E R

% 19.07.2018 Respondent no.2 has appeared in Court along with his counsel, who accepts notice. He has been identified by SI Anuj Kumar of police station Mayur Vihar, Phase I. He submits that he has settled the matter with the petitioner of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion vide Settlement Deed dated 26th September, 2017. He has no objection in case FIR No. 184/2012 under Sections 308/34 IPC registered at police station Mayur Vihar Phase-I is quashed in view of the settlement. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
