The present petition under Article 215 of the Constitution of India read with Section 2(b) alongwith Sections 11 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act seeks the following prayers:- "a) Initiate contempt proceeding against the alleged contemnors/respondents for wilfully and deliberately disobeying the judgment and final Order dated 12.07.2022 passed in Writ Petition (C) No.-1 542 of2020 [PIL] (Sri Salek Chand Jain Vs Ministry of Social Justice and others).

b) Pass any other or further order/s as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case." Vide order dated 24.01.2024, learned Predecessor Bench of this Court had directed the respondents to file an affidavit showing the current status of the implementation of the welfare schemes for the benefit of the various Denotified Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes. Subsequently, by way of affidavits, the status of the said scheme has been placed on record. 4.

In view of the affidavits placed on record, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the present petition with liberty to initiate appropriate proceedings for implementation of the said schemes. 5.

Leave and liberty granted.

The present petition is dismissed as withdrawn and disposed of accordingly.

Needless to say that it is always open to the petitioner to initiate appropriate proceeding in accordance with law, if so available.
