% 23.03.2017 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 are related to each other being relatives.
Present FIR No. 642/2016 under Sections 354/509 IPC was registered against the petitioner at police station Okhla Industrial Area on the complaint of respondent no.2. It is further submitted that with the intervention of their family members petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably vide Compromise Deed dated 9th February, 2017, therefore, FIR in question may be quashed. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Baldev Raj of police station Okhla Industrial Area. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner voluntarily and without any undue
force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that she does not wish to pursue the FIR any further in view of the settlement, therefore, the same may be quashed.
Keeping in mind that a settlement has been arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2, inasmuch as, respondent no.2 does not wish to pursue the FIR any further, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 642/2016 under Sections 354/509 IPC registered at police station Okhla Industrial Area and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
