The present writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, has been filed on behalf of the petitioner, seeking the following reliefs:
"A. May kindly direct to the respondents to allow the son of the petitioner to reallocate the collage preferences to the petitioner and readdress the grievance of the petitioner.
B. Further may kindly issue direction to respondents to consider for the mid-entry admission of the petitioner „son, to rectify the Delhi University Admission Portal The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
as many options available to the other students same may be available to the son of the petitioner." 4.
Issue Notice. Mr. Mohinder JS Rupal, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of respondent no. 1 - University of Delhi, and Mr. Akash Charttaji, learned SPC accepts notice on behalf of respondent no. 2- Union of India.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the University of Delhi has issued an acknowledgement of the admission and due to some technical issue, the petitioner could not lock his choice and preferences. It is also stated that his score is higher than the CUET cut off released in the second round.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of University of Delhi draws this Court‟s attention to Annexure P-1, which is a press release for Common Seat Allocation System (UG) 2024-25. Learned counsel further draws this Courts attention to the sub-heading „Mid-entry‟, of the said document, which is reproduced hereinbelow:

This Court notes that the petitioner herein is already covered, in terms of the second paragraph of „Mid-Entry‟ as per CSAS (UG) 2024-25, extracted hereinabove, and will be eligible to apply under the same category. 8.
In view of the above, the present writ petition will not be maintainable in its present form.

Accordingly, the same is disposed of in above terms. 10.
