1. The present petition has been filed challenging the order dated 20.03.2024 whereby the parole application of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 20.03.2024 by the competent authority in terms of the Rule 1211 of Delhi Prison Rules, 2018.

2. Ld. ASC has filed the status report and submits that in view of Rule 1211 of Delhi Prison Rules, 2018, the request for parole has been rejected rightly. It has further been submitted that the address of the petitioner is also not verified.

3. The perusal of the Nominal Roll indicates that earlier also, the parole was granted to the appellant by this Court for the period 18.02.2019 to 12.04.2019.

4. Taking into the facts and circumstances, the petitioner is directed to be released on parole for maintaining social ties for a period of four weeks from the date of release from jail on furnishing a personal bond The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

of Rs.10,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned Superintendent Jail, subject to the petitioner furnishing the fresh address which shall be verified before the petitioner being released, and subject to the appellant providing his mobile number at the time of furnishing the bail bond, and subject to the following further conditions:

(i) The appellant shall remain available on his mobile number provided in bail bond i.e. which he undertakes to keep operational during the pendency of the present appeal;

(ii) The appellant shall further remain in touch telephonically with police officer in-charge on his mobile number on the first Monday of every week;

(iii) The petitioner shall remain available on address provided and shall not leave NCT of Delhi without the permission of the learned Trial Court;

(iv) The appellant shall regularly appear before the Court as and when the appeal is taken up for hearing and shall not leave the country without the permission of the learned Trial Court; (v) In the event of a change of his residential address/contact details, the appellant shall promptly inform the same to the concerned police officer in-charge/the concerned court;

(vi) Appellant shall not indulge in any criminal activity and shall not communicate with or come in contact with the complainant/victim or any member of the complainant/victim's family in any manner; (vii) Appellant shall surrender after the expiry of the said period of four weeks.

5. Copy of the order be sent to concerned Jail Superintendent for information and compliance.
