1. The present petition under Article 226 read with Article 227 of the Constitution of India seeks to assail the order dated 03.11.2022 passed by the learned Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) in O.A. no. 785/2021.

2. On the last date, the matter was adjourned to enable learned counsel for the petitioners to take instructions in respect of the plea raised by the learned counsel for the respondent that the respondent now stands exonerated in the departmental proceedings. Today, he concedes that the respondent now stands exonerated of all the charges vide penalty order dated 15.02.2023 and consequently, his suspension has been revoked.

3.
