This is a petition filed under Section 29A (4) & (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 4 months.

It is stated by Mr. Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioner, that the delay occurred on account of parties trying to settle the disputes during the arbitration process.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Mr. Gauhar, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.

I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay. 6.

For the said reasons, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 4 months from today. 7.

The period from 01.07.2025 till today stands regularised. 8.

The petition is disposed of.
