The present petition has been filed under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter 'Act') on behalf of the petitioner, who is the claimant in the arbitration proceedings, seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for a further period of eight

(8) months.

The mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is stated to have been expired on 15th August, 2025.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent does not oppose the present petition.

Accordingly, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended for a period of eight (8) months from today.
