Ms. Avshreya Pratap Singh Rudy, learned Senior Panel Counsel appearing on behalf of respondents has handed over written instructions dated 26.08.2025 received by her from Directorate of Health Services (office of MCC), to contend that petitioners will be offered the seat as per annexure attached to the said instructions.

The said annexure shows that petitioner no.1 is allotted Kasturba Medical College, Manipal whereas petitioner no.2 is being allotted Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore. The instructions are taken on record and respondents shall remain bound by the same.

submits that during the pendency of present petition, petitioner no.2 has opted for a college through State quota, however, she will be opting for Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, and will do the needful for giving up her seat allotted to her under State quota. The statement is taken on record and the petitioner no.2 shall remain bound by the same. 4.

In view of the above, no further orders are called for in the present petition.

Needless to say, this arrangement has been worked out by respondents in the peculiar facts and circumstances of the present case. 6.

The petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 7.
