This is a petition filed under Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking interim orders. 2.

When the matter came up for hearing before this Court on 06.09.2024, this Court had restrained the respondent, its employee's or its agents from encashing the fixed deposits.

Mr. Chauhan, learned counsel for the respondent has informed this court that with consent of parties, DIAC has been appointed as an institution to appoint an arbitrator for adjudication of disputes between the parties. 4.

Since the arbitrator is already being appointed, it is directed that the present petition will be treated as an application under Section 17 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and shall be heard and disposed of by the learned Arbitrator within 4 weeks from entering the reference. 5.
