% 26.02.2016 Petitioner had sought production of his wife Purnima Arora. Today, counsel for petitioner submits that the wife of the petitioner has already joined his company and he does not wish to press the writ petition.

Status report has been handed over in court as per which the family members of Purnima Arora more particularly the father of Purnima Arora i.e. Mr. Kashmiri Lal Arora was contacted and he has stated in writing that his daughter has solemnized marriage with Harjinder Singh without the consent of her family and now she wants to stay with her husband Harjinder Singh and he has no objection to the same.

In view of the stand taken by the father of Purnima Arora, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn. In case the couple feels threatened, they may approach the concerned SHO who shall provide necessary protection and also call their parents for mediation.
