This petition has been filed, under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of the learned sole arbitrator, who is in seisin of disputes between the parties under a letter of acceptance dated 01.02.2010. 2.

The learned sole arbitrator entered into reference pursuant to an order dated 24.01.2024, passed in OMP (T) (COMM) 113/2023. 3.

It is stated in the petition that the mandate of the arbitral tribunal is due to expire on 27.09.2024.

Mr. Gaurav Gupta, learned counsel for the respondent, appears on advance notice and states that the respondent has no objection to the relief sought.

In view of the above, and with the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the learned sole arbitrator is extended for a period of six months, with effect from 27.09.2024.
