In the present petition, the limited relief sought by the petitioner is that petitioner's second appeal dated 29.05.2025 filed before the Central Information Commission ('CIC') be heard and decided expeditiously. 2.

This Court is not inclined to issue any pre-emptory directions to the CIC to take the petitioner's second appeal out of turn or on a particular date. It is for the CIC to regulate/set its own hearing schedule. However, considering the circumstances of the case, liberty is granted to the petitioner to mention the matter before the CIC to seek expeditious listing and consideration of the aforesaid second appeal filed by the petitioner. 3.

Let the CIC make an endeavour to accommodate the said request of the petitioner and also to take up the second appeal of the petitioner for hearing and disposal within a period of eight (8) weeks from today. 4.

The petition, along with the pending application, is disposed of in the above terms.
