% 18.08.2025 1.

By the present petition, the petitioner essentially seeks protection to her life and liberty from one Vishnu Menaria and his associates. The petitioner is a foreign national. The petitioner and her husband had filed two complaints against Vishnu Menaria and his mother under 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.

2.

The petitioner alleges that she was assaulted at the hands of Vishnu Menaria due to the ongoing legal proceedings, and further apprehends threat to her life and liberty. It is the grievance of the petitioner that despite an FIR being registered against the accused Vishnu Menaria, the petitioner continues to face imminent threat to her life.
