Two Petitions under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 ("BNSS") have been filed on behalf of the Petitioners for quashing of FIR Nos.0190/2019 & 0174/2019, under Sections 323/452/34 IPC and Sections 323/308/34 IPC respectively, both registered at PS: Hazrat Nizamuddin, New Delhi and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom, in terms of Compromise/Settlement Deed dated 15.04.2025. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Due to fight/quarrel, which took place between the parties, aforesaid cross-FIR Nos. 0190/2019 & 0174/2019 were registered under Sections 323/452/34 IPC and Sections 323/308/34 IPC respectively. Parties are neighbours and they have compromised/settled the matter in terms of Compromise/Settlement Deed dated 15.04.2025.

The parties are present before this Court in-person today and have been identified by their learned Counsel and concerned Investigating Officer. 6.
In view of Compromise/Settlement Deed dated 15.04.2025, present Petitions have been filed.

The parties have endorsed the amicable Settlement and accepted the terms thereof voluntarily and have undertaken to remain bound by the terms of the Settlement.

The parties have submitted that all the disputes have been amicably settled vide Compromise/Settlement Deed dated 15.04.2025 and thus, no fruitful purpose will be served in continuing with both the FIRs. 9.
Both these Petitions have been signed by the Petitioners and supported by their Affidavits. The parties have reaffirmed the terms of Compromise/ Settlement Deed dated 15.04.2025 and they submit that the said Settlement has been arrived at between them without any pressure and coercion. 10.
In view of the above facts that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will and without any coercion and also the fact that the present matter is a matter between neighbours, no useful purpose will be served in continuing with the proceedings, rather the same would The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
create further acrimony between them. Hence, it would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto.

Moreover, there is no legal impediment in quashing the aforesaid FIRs in question.

Consequently, FIR No.0190/2019 under Sections 323/452/34 IPC, registered at PS: Hazrat Nizamuddin, New Delhi and FIR No.0174/2019 under Sections 323/308/34 IPC respectively, registered at PS: Hazrat Nizamuddin, New Delhi and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
