The present petition has been filed by the petitioner assailing the order/ communication dated 10.01.2025 issued by respondent no.1/ Bar Council of India, whereby, respondent no.2/Bar Council of Delhi was directed to remove the petitioner's name from the roll of advocates maintained by the State Bar Council with immediate effect. 4.

During the course of hearing, it transpires that prior to filing of the instant petition, the petitioner had approached the Allahabad High Court by way of a petition assailing the letter dated 18.12.2024, issued by Bundelkhand University. The said letter contained a list of 14 advocates registered with the Bar Council of Delhi whose degrees were found to be fake, and the petitioner's name appeared at serial no.4 therein. 5.

proceedings, is inextricably connected with the substantive controversy, raised before the Allahabad High Court by way of the aforesaid petition, which is stated to be pending.

In the circumstances, applying the principle of forum non conveniens, this Court is of the view that it would be apposite for the petitioner to pursue his remedies before the Allahabad High Court, which is already seized of the controversy and has passed certain orders pertaining thereto. 7.

Accordingly, this Court is not inclined to entertain the present petition. The petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to pursue his legal remedies before the Allahabad High Court. Pending application also stands disposed of.
