% 15.01.2016 C.M. No.1501/2016 (by the respondents u/Sec.151 CPC) 1.

The present application has been filed by the respondents praying inter alia for extension of time by another four months to implement the order dated 26.8.2015.

Vide order dated 26.8.2015, the Central Government, through the Ministry of Home Affairs, was directed to take a final decision with regard to the petitioner's entitlement for promotion to the post of Deputy Commandant (DG), having regard to the vacancies in the cadre of Deputy Commandant (DG) of the ITBP, within twelve weeks from the date of passing of the said order.

The period of twelve weeks reckoned from 26.8.2015, had expired on 26.12.2015, i.e., during the winter vacations of the High Court.

Counsel for the respondents states that the present application was moved on 2.1.2016, requesting for extension of time. 5.

In view of the explanation offered by learned counsel for the respondents, the timeline for implementation of the order dated 26.8.2015, is extended by a period of four weeks. 6.

The application is disposed of.
