The petitioner seeks a direction for grant of a No Objection Certificate ["NOC"]/Land Status Report ["LSR"], in respect of land measuring 2 Bighas and 8 Biswas in Khasra No. 35//19 (4-16) situated in Village Budhan Pur Majra, Delhi ["subject land"]. 3.
Ms. Smita Maan, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the petitioner No. 1 is the owner of the subject land, and intends to execute a sale deed in favour of petitioner No. 2, but NOC/LSR was W.P.(C) 12610/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. rejected on the ground that NOC/LSR cannot be granted in view of Section 74 (4) of Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954. 4.
Ms. Maan draws my attention to the judgments of this court in Karan Luthra Vs. Govt of NCT of Delhi, [2024 SCC OnLine Del 1774] and M/s Prabutav Estates Private Limited & Ors Vs. Govt of NCT of Delhi & Ors. [W.P.(C) 9289/2025, decided on 09.07.2025], wherein this court has directed issuance of LSR/NOC to petitioners therein. 5.
Mr. Pathak submits, upon instructions, that the present case is similar in all respects to the aforesaid cases, and no acquisition proceedings are pending in respect of the subject land. 6.
In view of the above, the writ petition is allowed, and respondent is directed to issue the required LSR/NOC to the petitioners within a period of two weeks, or to certify in writing that no LSR/NOC is required.
