O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondents to take action against the ongoing illegal and unauthorized construction being carried out by respondent no. 4 in property measuring 100 sq. yards in property/plot no. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent no. 2-Station House Officer ("SHO"), on advance notice, submits that the address of the petitioner is of Maharashtra.

It is submitted that in order to assess the status of the property, respondent no. 2 tried to contact the petitioner, however, the petitioner has not been co-operating in any manner.

He, thus, submits that the identity of the petitioner seems to be doubtful.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent no. 1-Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD") submits that the land over which the property in question exists belongs to the Delhi Development Authority ("DDA"). Thus, she submits that it is for the DDA to take action with regard thereto.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent no. 3, i.e., Special Task Force ("STF") submits that the complaint received against the property in question has already been registered.

She further submits that in case the property belongs to the DDA, the said aspects shall be considered in the next meeting of STF. 8.

Accordingly, without going into the antecedents of the petitioner, since the complaint in the present case already stands registered, it is directed that in the next meeting of the STF, the STF shall assess and ascertain under whose jurisdiction the area in question falls. 9.
