The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to respondent no. 1, i.e., Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD") to take action against the illegal and unauthorized construction being carried out by respondent no. 2 in the property bearing House No. 130, Top Floor, Pocket9 Sector-22 Rohini, Delhi-110086. 2.
Responding to the present writ petition, learned counsel appearing for the MCD, on advance notice, submits that the petitioner as well as respondent no. 2, stay in the same building, on different floors. She submits that there is excess coverage in the whole building, on account of which, the same has been booked on 19th August, 2025.

She further submits that a Show Cause Notice has also been issued on 19th August, 2025. She has handed over a copy of the said documents, which are taken on record.

Accordingly, it is directed that the MCD shall take requisite action against the property in question, after following the due procedure, and in accordance with law.

The MCD shall also ensure that due hearing is granted to the respective occupiers of the building, before any action is taken in regard to the excess coverage/unauthorized construction existing in the property in question.

In case, any of the occupants of the building in question, are aggrieved by any action taken by the MCD, they shall be at liberty to seek their remedies, in accordance with law.

Accordingly, with the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition, along with the pending application, stands disposed of.
