O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 21/2018 This is an application under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as the 'Act') seeking extension of time for making of the award in the Arbitration Proceedings between the parties.

Learned counsel for the respondent appears on advance notice and states that he has no objection to the grant of the prayer made in the petition. Having perused the contents of the petition as also the no objection given by the learned counsel for the respondent, I deem it fit and appropriate to extend the time for making of the award by the Arbitrator for a further

period of two months from today.

The petition is allowed in the above terms.
