By way of the present petitions filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, the petitioner seeks an extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of one year for concluding the Arbitral proceedings and passing the Award. 2.

It has been submitted that the respondent has been served. However, none has appeared.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has stated at the bar that the learned counsel for the respondent has given his consent for the extension of the mandate.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal has expired on 11.10.2023.

Learned counsels for the petitioner submits that the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of cross-examination of the respondent‟s witnesses. 6.

Considering the aforesaid request and as stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the learned counsel for respondent has given his consent, the present petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of one year from today. Further, the period lapsed from 11.10.2023 till date is regularised. 7.

The present petitions stand disposed of.
