By way of present petition, the petitioner is seeking quashing of FIR bearing No. 779/2018, registered at Police Station New Usmanpur, Delhi, for the offences punishable under Sections 279/337/338 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereafter 'IPC').

Issue notice. The learned APP accepts notice on behalf of the State. 3.

The petitioner and respondent nos. 2 to 4 are present before this Court. They have been identified by their counsels and concerned Investigating Officer (IO) from Police Station Usmanpur, Delhi. 4.

Brief facts of the case are that on 04.10.2018, due to an accident, a complaint was lodged by respondent no. 2 which resulted into registration of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. the present FIR. Thereafter, with the intervention of well wishers and relatives, both the parties have resolved and settled their all disputes with each other on 31.01.2025.

The complainants, who are present through video-conferencing, state that they have no objection, if the present FIR is quashed. 6.

In view of the above facts that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will and without any coercion, this Court is of the opinion that no useful purpose will be served by continuing the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. Hence, it would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. Moreover, there is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question. 7.

Accordingly, FIR bearing No. 779/2018, registered at Police Station New Usmanpur, Delhi, for the offences punishable under Sections 279/337/338 of the IPC and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

In view of above, the present petition stands disposed of. 9.
