Mishra, learned ASC appearing on behalf of respondent/Jamia Millia Islamia submits that the only grievance articulated in the present petition is that petitioners are outstation students belonging to Kerala and they do not have any local guardian in Delhi, and only for the said reason they are not eligible to get the hostel accommodation. 2.
He submits that in such a situation, the petitioners, as well as, their respective parents will have to request the respondent University to appoint any staff member of the respondent University as their local guardian, and in the event of such request being made, the staff member of the respondent University will be appointed as local guardian of the petitioners. 3.
Further, a declaration will have to be given by the petitioners that they do not have any local guardian in the Delhi NCR region. 4.

petitioners shall be eligible to get the hostel accommodation. 5.
The statement of Mr. Mishra is taken on record and the respondent/University shall remain bound by the same. 6.
In view of the above statement, Mr. Saimon Farooqui, learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioners states that no further orders are called for in the present petition.
