The petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No.195/2012, under Sections 406/498A/506 IPC, Police Station Chandni Mahal. 2.
Petitioner is the husband of respondent No.2. The subject FIR was lodged consequent to a matrimonial discord. 3.
Learned counsel for the parties submits that the parties have settled their disputes through the process of mediation held at Delhi High Court Mediation & Conciliation Centre on 31.08.2017. They submit that the parties have reconciled their disputes and are residing CRL. M.C. 861/2018
together as husband and wife.

The respondent No.2 is present in person, represented by counsel and identified by the Investigating Officer. She submits that she has amicably resolved the disputes with her husband and they both are now cohabiting together. She submits that she does not wish to press charges against the petitioner and has no objection to the quashing of the subject FIR.

Both the parties undertake that they shall abide by the Settlement Agreement dated 31.08.2017.

In view of the fact that the proceedings emanate out of a matrimonial discord and the parties have fully and finally settled their disputes and have started living together and further the respondent No.2 has stated that she does not wish to press the complaint any further, it would be expedient and in the interest of justice to quash the subject FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating there from. 7.
In view of the above, FIR No.195/2012, under Sections 406/498A/506 IPC, Police Station Chandni Mahal and the consequent proceedings emanating there from are quashed. 8.
