Since much water has flown after passing of the impugned order dated 17.04.2023, whereby the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, East-District, Karkardooma Courts (learned Trial Court) had directed the petitioner herein to pay interim maintenance @ Rs.11,000/- per month to the respondent herein w.e.f. 15.03.2023, on or before 15th day of each English calendar month till the final adjudication therein, learned counsel for the parties, without adverting to the merits involved, submit that de hors the findings rendered therein, they are mutually agreeable for reduction of the interim maintenance granted vide the impugned order if the learned Trial Court is directed to dispose of the proceedings in MT No. 343/2020 expeditiously.

In view of the aforesaid and without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the parties, the impugned order is modified to the extent The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. that the petitioner is now directed to pay interim maintenance @ Rs.9,000/- per month to the respondent herein w.e.f. 15.03.2023 on or before 15th day of each English calendar month till the final adjudication before the learned Trial Court, subject to adjustment, if any. 3.

Further, keeping in mind the nature of matrimonial proceedings involved as also the age of the parties, their future and their personal and professional prospects, the learned Trial Court is requested to try and dispose of the proceedings in MT No. 343/2020 pending before it at the earliest, preferably on or before 31.12.2026. 4.

Needless to say, the parties shall not seek any unnecessary adjournments before the learned Trial Court and adjournment, if any, shall be solely to the discretion of the learned Trial Court. 5.

Accordingly, the present petition, along with the pending application, is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. SAURABH BANERJEE, J.
