This application is filed on behalf of the Petitioner seeking condonation of delay of 51 days in re-filing the petition. 2.

extension of the mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator by a period of four months.

Disputes having arisen between the parties in relation to Agreement dated 03.05.2018, Petitioner filed a petition under Section 11(6) of 1996 Act in this Court being ARB.P. No.114/2022, seeking appointment of an Arbitrator, which was allowed on 22.02.2022 appointing a Sole Arbitrator. On 05.04.2024, mandate of the Arbitrator was extended for six months with the consent of the parties, since the earlier mandate had expired. Thereafter, in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 962/2024, this Court extended the mandate upto 31.05.2025 vide order dated 17.12.2024. Mandate of the Arbitrator has expired on 31.05.2025 and the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of final arguments.

Issue notice.

Mr. Yakesh Anand, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the Respondent and on instructions, submits that Respondent has no objection to the extension of mandate of the Arbitrator.

Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, mandate of the Arbitrator is extended by a period of four months from 21.08.2025 and period between 01.06.2025 to 20.08.2025 is regularized.

Petition is allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
