Writ Petition under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed by the Petitioner seeking quashing of FIR No. 0068/2016 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC, registered at P.S.: Vasant Kunj South and all proceedings arising therefrom in terms of the Settlement dated 05.06.2023. 2.

Learned counsel for Respondent No.2 appears through VC and submit that they were not aware of the proceedings and would appear on the next date of hearing and pay the balance amount of Rs.50,000/- to the Petitioner. 3.

It is quite evident that since as per the terms of the settlement burden was put on the Petitioner to file quashing Petitioner, she having done so, is being harassed by Respondent No.2, who is not appearing and seeking adjournment.
