CAV 150/2018 Since Mr. Neel Mason, Advocate has entered appearance on behalf of the respondents, the Caveat stands discharged. FAO 77/2018, CM APPL. 7065/2018 This appeal is preferred against an ex-parte order dated 08.01.2018 injuncting the appellant from broadcasting, distributing and communicating to the public cinematographic films, clippings, sound recordings and all related works including the musical works of

the plaintiff on their television channels.

The case is next listed before the Trial Court on 14.05.2018.

The learned counsel for the appellant submits that the date of almost five months will cause irreparable loss to them. They seek advancement of the date of hearing of the application for vacating the impugned ex-parte order.

The learned counsel for the respondent, who appears on advance notice, states that he would have no objection if the date of hearing is advanced.

In the circumstances, the Trial Court is requested to disposed off the application within a period of six weeks from the date it is next listed.

The parties shall appear before the Trial Court on 06.03.2018. The pleadings shall be completed by the parties before that date. The learned counsel for the parties submit that they shall endeavour to assist the Trial Court on every date when the case is so fixed. The appeal is disposed off in the above terms.
