The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, who is present in person in Court, prays for leave to withdraw the present petition. She states that as the statement of the victim already stands recorded, the learned Trial Court be requested to expedite the conclusion of the trial. She submits that due to the proceedings in question, the petitioner has also been denied the custody rights over the child.

Keeping the overall circumstances in mind, the learned Trial Court is requested to expedite the conclusion of the trial and make an endeavour to conclude the same within a period of six months from the first listing of the same before it.

With the above request to the learned trial court, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
